Loughborough University will be at the Made in the Midlands Manufacturing Exhibition on 25 May.

Representatives from the University’s Business Development Team will be available to discuss how working with a university can boost your business productivity, and an Innovation Advisor from The iNet will also be on hand to discuss support directly available to SMEs for growth and innovation activities.

Loughborough has a successful track record of working with a range of organisations to pursue specific business goals by sharing and applying ideas, knowledge, technologies, skills and services.

Projects span increasing efficiency and productivity, new product development and market share enhancement, and process and system review.

There are a variety of ways to tap into Loughborough’s expertise, skills and advanced research facilities – some of them part-funded – and there are opportunities for SMEs as well as larger, global corporations.

As well as medium- to long-term Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, short-term consultancies can provide practical solutions to challenges, helping your business to flourish.

Working with the University to recruit first-class graduates is an effective way to enhance your work force. Placements are also a valuable recruitment tool for sourcing the best, most motivated candidates.

The University’s Science and Enterprise Park provides an outstanding environment for start-ups and mature organisations alike, offering office, laboratory and workshop spaces in existing and design-and-build accommodation.

Katherine Blades, a Loughborough Business Development Manager, says: “The Expo provides a great way to meet and network with organisations across the Midlands – forging new partnerships that help to enhance regional business productivity and success.”
